History is generally divided into three time periods known as Prehistory, Proto-history and history.
Prehistory: The Prehistoric period is the time when
human don’t had understanding of writing or you can say writing had not
been invented. Obviously for the Prehistoric period we don’t have
written records. The knowledge of Prehistory is totally depends on
archaeology, physical remains of past such as pots, jewellery ,tools,
coins etc.
