WBTET 2014 Exam Details
The West Bengal teacher eligibility Test is to be conducted for the recruitment of 4900 Pass Graduate Teachers, there are two categories of Teachers
1. Teachers for Primary Schools ( 1st -5th )
2. Teachers for Secondary Schools (6th- 12th )
Last Date for Application :- 8th Feb 2014
Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit:- No Age Limit; Check Official Advertisement for more details
Educational Qualification
For Primary teacher:- Candidate must have passed Senior Secondary or equivalent with at least 45 percent
Candidate appearing in final 2 years Diploma in elementary education | 4 years Bachelor or Elementary Eduacation (B.EI.Ed)/2 year diploma in Special education.
For Upper Primary Teacher
Candidate must have possessed B.A/ B.SC and appearing in Final 2 year D.Ed/B.A/ B.Sc/ with at least 45 percent and passed | appearing in B.Ed | Secondary Education with at least 50 percent marks or passed in Final 4 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.I.Ed)
Application Fee
For General Candidate:- Rs. 250/-
For SC ST Category:-Rs. 80/-
Selection Process
Selection for Teachers will be done on the basis of performance in WBTET 2014 Examination

All those candidate eligible and willing to apply can buy OMR Application Form which is available for sale on 847 Post Offices in West Bengal Circle.
Fill it and send it to given address before the last date
