How to Control Household Devices with semiconductor Laser Diode

You may have heard or seen that how to control household devices with Radio Frequency (RF) and Infra Red(IR) but these techniques are little complex and cost more time and Money, now i got to have a idea to control devices with Laser Diode that can be easily bought from the toy store.


All you need to have following components

1. Semiconductor Laser Diode
2. LDR ( Light Dependent Resistor) or Photo-Diode
3. A suitable transistor for Signal amplifiation
4. A Relay either Solid state or Mechanical
5. Wires
6. Breadboard for test

Here you may notice when The Light source is quiet near to the LDR its resistance decreases drasticallly and  current reaches to the base of transistor ultimately connects collector and Emitter terminal and and hence the Led attached to the Collector glows.you can see in the Circuit diagram i have attached three Green LEDs that are glowing as high intensity Light fall on it.

You can amplify that voltage | Current  that are going into the LED and Can attach Relay for Controlling Household Devices.
